On July 2nd, actor Lee Jong Suk posted on his me2day, “Live broadcast is definitely really hard. Hara was trying to help me because I made a mistake during live broadcast.

He also added, “My heart is heavy because she had to hear harsh comments because of me, I’m sorry. Everyone, this foolish rookie MC right now makes a lot of mistakes but will soon get things together.

His post was made in response to many fans and netizens’ concerns about Hara’s dark expression on ‘Inkigayo‘. During one point on the show when Hara was introducing SISTAR‘s stage, she had stumbled over her words and her expression hardened. Seeing her struggle a bit, Lee Jong Suk tried to help out the situation by shouting, “Music start!” However, even after SISTAR’s performance, many felt that her expression had continued to remain dark, and expressed their concerns and worries.

Seeing the comments, Lee Jong Suk spoke up on Hara’s behalf stating that this was all caused by his beginner emceeing skills. Hara had also responded to the worried comments about her so called dark expression on Twitter, writing, “Puahah, over such a little thing…”, trying to point out that there really was no need for fans to worry.

After reading their posts netizens responded in various ways, commenting, “I don’t get it, what does his mistake have to do with her dark expression?”, “Lee Jong Suk, you’re the best”, “Anyone can make mistakes on a live broadcast”, “People shouldn’t have responded so sensitively in the first place”, and “I think people were overreacting over nothing”.
