B.A.P. ‘s growing popularity overseas seems to have brought about not just success for the group, but also some unfortunate circumstances.

On July 27th, officials of TS Entertainment expressed their concern to allkpop over the selling of illegal B.A.P. related products overseas. Officials asked fans to make sure that they double check their purchases to avoid being scammed.

Companies were apparently using B.A.P.’s name, which is definitely on the rise as the boys rank at the top on various international music charts, to sell vacation packages at higher prices, promising to take fans to their Taiwanese showcase scheduled on September 22nd. One of the plans included in the itinerary is a ‘greet B.A.P. at the airport’ event, making for quite the dangerous situation should it not be handled properly.

Officials recognized that it wouldn’t be B.A.P. put in danger’s way, but rather their fans. They expressed, “We’re afraid of our fans being harmed through these illegal products. We hope that this is an opportunity for us to alert these companies that their unethical business practices will not be tolerated.”
