On July 1, U-KISS‘s Japanese agency AVEX announced on its official website that U-KISS will be holding a concert at the Budokan on September 5. Budokan can hold up to 10,000 people in the audience, sporting a slightly smaller arena than Tokyo Dome or Tokyo Arena, but it is known as the “dream stage” for Japanese artists.
Previously, BoA, DBSK, 2PM, Ryu Shi Won and many other Hallyu stars have performed at Budokan. U-KISS’s Budokan debut will place them among these big-named Hallyu stars. U-KISS commented, “We’ve heard that Budokan is where many famous Japanese and other international music artists performed. It’s only been about half a year since our official debut in Japan and we’ve accomplished so much. We’ve had a concert tour in Japan and now Budokan. It feels awesome. Since it means a lot to be performing at Budokan, we will do our best to prepare for the upcoming concert to present an awesome concert for our fans to enjoy with us.”
