After dropping the bomb of an announcement of his wedding plans on August 14th, singer Haha held a press conference on August 15th for details.
The conference was held at MBC's Ilsan Dream Center, where Haha talked about his future with his girlfriend of six months, Byul.
Haha revealed to the group of reporters that he had been wanting to focus on getting married and creating a happy family ever since he turned thirty. It all started off as a joke, where Haha would tell Byul, "You're going to end up marrying me." The two were both single
at the time.
Talking about his bride-to-be, Haha said described her to have many qualities he himself doesn't have: modesty, cuteness, innocence, and sexiness. He complimented her singing talents and how she's good to her parents.
The singer and TV personality even admitted to having pet names for one another. They basically call each other "yeobo", which means "honey" in Korea. A term many married couples use for their spouses.
Haha and Byul, her real name being Kim Go-eun, were friends for 7-8 years before the two of them starting dating last March. The couple did note that Byul is not pregnant, and that this will not be a shotgun wedding. The big day is scheduled for November 30th.
