With the continuing global success of ‘Gangnam Style ‘, Psy confessed that he was finding the newfound fame to be somewhat uncomfortable on an upcoming episode of ‘Section TV Entertainment Relay‘.

“Instead of saying ‘American takeover’, I’d prefer to be known as ‘that weird guy from Korea’,” he said, referring to coverage of ‘Gangnam Style’ in American news outlets such as CNN and the Los Angeles Times. “In fact, my mother told me that I should be more polite at times like these.”

Over 30,000 fans attended Psy’s ‘Summer Stand’ concert on Saturday, where he performed ‘Gangnam Style’ as well as a parody of SISTAR‘s “Alone“.
