Psy Sets Another Record Ranking 44th on U.S. Itunes Chart

Singer Psy is rubbing shoulders with world renown musicians. It’s been noted that he has made great progress on the U.S. itunes chart.


On August 28, Psy’s title song from his 6th full-length album, “Gangnam Style,” has been placed in the U.S. itunes TOP 100 chart ranking 44th. It’s the highest placed song from a Korean singer or group, adding another record to his recent long list of achievements.


He went up 8 places from ranking 52nd on August 26. He also placed first on the U.S. itunes Music Video chart through his song “Gangnam Style,” creating such a wild response.


Not just in itunes, but Psy is receiving a lot of love through Youtube as well. On August 24, after 41 days since “Gangnam Style” was released, there were 50 million views. His video passed the 60 million mark just 2 days later on August 26.


Psy’s been very busy shooting and appearing in advertisements after his recent trip to the U.S. He’s also planning to visit the states again in early September.
