Singer Kim Jang Hoon praises Ulala Session after their first solo concert.
On September 4, Kim Jang Hoon wrote on his me2day, “This is a review of Ulala Session’s concert in Busan. Mmm.. songs, production, choreography.. I REALLY like it. I’m greatly impressed by the concert’s atmosphere.”
He also added, “Yoon Taek arrived at the back of the stage via an ambulance and waited in the dressing room. I greeted him, but he wasn’t able to smile back. Him being able to get up and sing ‘A Goose’s Dream’ greatly impressed me” revealing the state of Yoon Taek’s health condition.
He went on, “But, what was the most impressive was… the best was definitely the audience who kept praising, crying and laughing until the very end. They must’ve gone through so much, but to see my Ulala Session dongsengs, the audience… I want to say ‘there is no greater concert!’” He ended the post with “You must definitely watch their performance at least one and it was an honor to watch such an epic concert.”
Ulala Session continued their solo concert in Haeundae, Busan on September 1. Their leader, Im Yoon Taek, is currently on the 4th stage of cancer. He was receiving chemotherapy prior to the performance because of his degrading condition so he wasn’t able to stand on stage from start to finish. However, he went on stage to greet over 4,000 fans despite his management trying to dissuade him and was met with warm applauses.
Kim Jang Hoon also performed as a special guest and said, “Please don’t be hurt and always stay with your fans and fellow singers.” He sung “My Love By My Side” for Im Yoon Taek.
Ulala Session kicked off their solo concert tour on September 25 in Seoul and will later perform at these dates below:
September 16 Gwangju
