2PM’s Nichkhun is soon expected to make his TV comeback, local media reported on October 5.
According to MBC, the 2PM member who suspended all activities following his DUI car accident in July, has confirmed his casting in “2012 KOICA’s Dream,” a reality show where celebrities do community service work in underprivileged countries.
“2PM Nichkhun’s casting in ‘KOICA’s Dream’ was made possible after MBC made the offer and Nichkhun agreed to it. The producers wanted to have Nichkhun on the show for a long time, since he is known for his charity and community service work,” MBC said.
“Nichkhun likes the show’s overall concept, and he’s decided to join us, as an extension to the community service work he’s been doing lately,” it added.
For the filming of the show, Nichkhun will head to Tanzania on October 5 and stay there for 15 days, helping underprivileged children in the impoverished African country. He will join 2PM’s Taecyeon, actress Lee Tae Ran, actors Park Sung Woong and Kim Hyuk, alongside 23 volunteer workers.
