Movie "Masquerade" Sweeps 15 Awards At Grand Bell Awards

It's no secret that the domestic film "Masquerade" (Korean title "Gwanghae: The Man Who Became King") has been dominating the box office. However, it more recently, dominated the 29th Grand Bell Awards as well.


The awards took place on October 30th, presenting a total of 23 awards in many different categories. Out of the 23, the movie starring Lee Byung-hun took home 15 awards, for the best picture, director, lead male actor, supporting male actor, costume, art, music, sound effects, popularity, lighting, editing, production, scenario, filming, and video effects.


The remaining winners for the night included actress Cho Min-soo for Best Lead Female Actress in the movie "Pieta", Kim Hae-sook for Best Supporting Female Actress in "The Thieves", Kim Sung-gyun for Best Male Rookie Actor in "Neighbor", Kim Go-eun for Best Female Rookie Actress in "A Muse", Choi Ji-yeon for Best Short Film for "Woman", Choi Jong-tae for Best New Director for "Hand In Hand", and Kim Ki-deok for Judges' Special Award for "Pieta".
