Jung-mo of the rock band TRAX kickstarted his mandatory military duties as a Korean male citizen on October 25th.
He entered his four-week basic training in Nonsan City. Unfortunately, due to a spinal problem, the singer isn't able to serve as an active duty soldier. He will instead, be serving as a public service official for 23 months.
Jung-mo had earlier expressed that he wanted to enlist quietly without all the media and public attention. Thus he has refused to hold a press conference or offer press coverage.
Prior to Jung-mo's enlistment, his partner Jay had joined the military for his term this past March. TRAX fans will have to wait for the members' completed duties.
