Lee Da Hae Feels Burdened About Being Compared with Kim Tae Hee and Soo Ae

Lee Da Hae, who is cast as the female lead for “Iris 2,” recently spoke about the burdens of being compared with Kim Tae Hee and Soo Ae.


Lee Da Hae attended the “Iris 2″ press conference on November 13 and stated, “I definitely think I’m going to get compared to Kim Tae Hee and Soo Ae, who were in the previous seasons. It’s so burdensome that I try not to think about it.”


“Iris 2″ is the second “Iris” series. The first “Iris” series starred Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Hee in 2009. In 2010, a spin-off series, “Athena: Goddess of War” starred Jung Woo Sung, Soo Ae and Cha Seung Won.


Lee Da Hae continued, “Since I’m trying not to think of burdensome things, I think all I need to do is just work really hard,” and “Since this is my first action drama, instead of looking at the script, I went to action school first.”


She added, “I was worried because there were a lot of action scenes but fortunately, Jang Hyuk is very good and helped me a lot. So I’m learning a lot,” and “I know I’m lacking in a lot of ways but I’m trying very hard to change my image so I hope everyone can view me in a favorable way.”


Meanwhile, “Iris 2,” starring Jang Hyuk, Lee Da Hae, Lee Bum Soo, Kang Ji Young, Yoon Doo Joon, Lee Joon and more, will contain 20 episodes. The pilot episode will air in February of next year after “Jeon Woo Chi.
