On February 28, the 10th Korean Music Awards were held in the Uniqlo-Ax Hall in Seoul where the big winners of the night were 3rd Line Butterfly and Busker Busker as well as PSY.
Awards were handed out for a multitude of different genres in the Korean music industry such as modern rock, dance/electronic, R&B, pop and more. Netizens were also able to participate in the awards by casting their votes for their favorite male, female and group artists.
While PSY won two awards for Song of the Year and Musician of the Year, Busker Busker won three awards: Best Pop Song, Best Pop Album and Group Musician of the Year Netizen Vote.
f(x)‘s “Electric Shock” was awarded with the Best Dance & Electronic Song and G-Dragon‘s “One Of A Kind” was awarded with the Best Rap & Hip-Hop Song. Naul‘s “Wind Memory” and “Principle of My Soul” won the Best R&B & Soul Song and Best R&B & Soul Album awards, respectively.
Jay Park was chosen as the netizen’s Male Musician of the Year while Park Jung Hyun was the Female Musician of the Year by netizen vote.
