B.A.P Records 14 Awards with Another Win in China

B.A.P is fast becoming a global star.


On April 13, B.A.P was awarded the “Best Newcomer” award in the K-Pop category at the “1st Annual Yin Yue Tai V-chart Awards” making this their 14th rookie award in total since their debut. The ceremony took place in Beijing, China, at the Mastercard Center with around 10,000 attendees. JYJ’s Junsu also won an award at the ceremony, taking home the “Best Korean Male Artist” trophy.


In the group’s acceptance speech, B.A.P leader Bang Yong Guk stated, “We want to be global artists,” and Yong Jae added in Chinese, “We’re happy to be here in China.”


In related news, B.A.P is currently busy preparing for first Pacific tour called, “B.A.P. Live on Earth.” They will be hitting New York, Washington, Los Angeles, and San Francisco in May. The tickets totaling 10,000 units were sold out within an hour.
