Shinhwa gave fans a sneak peek of their upcoming skit on ‘SNL Korea ‘ with still cuts of the members aging into old ladies and men.
The newly released preview shows Shinhwa’s Eric, Minwoo, and Hyesung fast-forwarding decades by transforming into grandpas and grandmas. While Eric and Minwoo kept it somewhat safe with their gray beards and wigs, Hyesung surprised fans by cross-dressing as an old lady. He put on a blond wig, stuffed his chest, drew bags under his eyes, and wore a dress with a necklace and earrings to match.
A staff member commented, “This is just one part of Shinhwa, the longest-running Korean idol group, and their prepared costumes for the ‘idols’ retirement insurance’ concept. [Look forward to the] effect of Shinhwa’s experience in the entertainment industry and comedy skills shown through variety shows combined with ‘SNL Korea’s satire, parodies, and 19+ humor, which will create the best comedy show.”
