On May 16th, actor Kwon Sang Woo will be attending the 65th ‘Cannes Film Festival‘ for the very first time.
He’ll be participating alongside co-star Jackie Chan in promotion for their film, ‘12 Chinese Zodiac Heads ‘. Filming for the movie took place in China, Taiwan, and Europe, and it’s a special film for Kwon Sang Woo in particular in that he had to endure stem cell surgery on his knee due to an injury he suffered.
Director Heo Jin Ho is also a figure of interest as he’ll be attending the festival for his Chinese film, ‘Dangerous Liaisons‘. Considering that both Korean stars are headed to the Cannes for Chinese films, Korea’s advancement into the Chinese film industry is showing signs of being a feasible effort.
