“Love Rain” had begun pre-sales in Japan even before it began its broadcast. Now the drama has been sold in nearly 12 different countries/regions. Here is the list of countries/regions: China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, Singapore, the Americas, and Europe.

“Love Rain” is set in two different periods, the 1970s and 2012. Jang Geun Suk and YoonA play Seo In Ha and Kim Yoon Hee, two college students who fall in love with each other in the 1970s. However the two do not end up being together in the end. In the present, their offspring also played by the same stars meet and fall in love.
