JYJ‘s Park Yoo Chun recently expressed his sorry heart toward his senior actress and co-star Jang Mi In Ae due to netizen’s strong protests against her casting.
A press conference was held for the upcoming drama “I Miss You” on November 1 where reporters asked questions about this recent controversy. Park Yoo Chun carefully replied, “I know this happened because people have interest in me but I think things went too far.”
Netizens have complained about Jang Mi In Ae’s casting in the drama, calling in a “combination sale” since she and Park Yoo Chun are from the same agency.
Park Yoo Chun continued, “Jang Mi In Ae is my senior in the acting industry so I am very sorry. I wish the fans will think of this a bit more comfortably. Also, because Jang Mi In Ae is from the same company as me, things are more comfortable. I hope the fans will take things down a notch.”
After Park Yoo Chun said those caring remarks, Jang Mi In Ae also aded, “Because of this controversy, I thought that I should work even harder.”
Meanwhile, “I Miss You,” starring Park Yoo Chun, Yoon Eun Hye, Yoo Seung Ho and others will air on November 7.
