G.NA has kicked off her first promotional event for her international album, ‘Oui ‘, in Thailand!
For a total of three days starting on October 3rd, G.NA met with fans through various performances, broadcast appearances, and fan sign events in celebration of her album’s release. On the 4th, she met with 250 fans chosen through a lottery at the Central World for ‘The 1st Fansign in Bangkok’. Fans of diverse ages were spotted in line, all of whom expressed joy over finally meeting the star.
G.NA guested on Channel V‘s ‘Asian Hero‘ and completed her interview with fluent English. The studio was filled with fans who had all gathered to show their support.
‘Oui’ actually ranked in at third on local music charts on the day of its release, which led to much buzz surrounding G.NA’s visit to the country. After seeing G.NA’s impressive stage manners and her passion towards her fans, love calls from several music and TV shows were sent requesting her appearance.
As previously revealed, ‘Oui’ contains a total of six English versions of all of her hit songs like “I’ll Back Off So You Can Live” and “Black & White “. Also included are newly recorded versions of her popular duets.
One industry official expressed, “Listeners are showing a passionate response towards her album since it is the first to be comprised of all English songs. This is an opportunity for her hit songs to receive the spotlight once again all over Asia, and the success of her recent promotions are demonstrating proof of that. This album will certainly receive much love in Thailand.”
