JYJ’s Jaejoong is currently in the midst of his Asia fan meeting tour and reported to have spent an enjoyable time with his fans in Thailand. It’s been earlier reported that 1,500 fans flocked to the airport to catch a glimpse of Jaejoong even though he arrived in Thailand in the early morning.
On October 23, he held a press conference before the fan meeting. It turns out that over 100 reporters at the event were female showing the popularity of the star. Since it’s been awhile since he last visited Thailand, they’ve showered him with interest catching up with his latest favorite dramas, movies, etc.
He answered how he feels visiting Thailand after a long time, “Junsu held a concert here not too long ago and Yoochun held a fan meeting here as well so I really missed Thailand. I’m very thankful to my fans who came out to greet me at the airport even though it was so early in the morning.”
The fan meeting took place at the Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon holding 5,000 fans. He started off by singing his song “Living Like a Dream” from the MBC drama “Dr. Jin” and also interacted with fans through various games. When asked by the fans if he likes Thailand he responded, “Although I wanted to come to Thailand, there wasn’t an opportunity. Later when I get older, I think it would be nice to stay in Thailand. By that time, mostly all of you will be married, right? Then how about coming to my concert with your husband and children?”
He also showed his cooking skills by making kim bap while wearing a cute apron. He also explained each step in creating such a useful dish. The fans were wowed by his friendliness when he would feed the staff who helped take pictures of the special few fans when they went up on stage to pose with the star.
To top it off, he also gifted every fan a pink rose and took a picture with the whole group. Many of the fans were so touched and many cried when the fan meeting finished. He left a message before leaving, “I’m really happy to be able to come to Thailand after a while and spend time with everyone. I’m going to love the fans forever! You are my happiness!”
Meanwhile, Jaejoong will visit Indonesia on November 3 and Vietnam on 10.
