Baek Jae Yeon, the sister of the previous season’s contestant Baek Ah Yeon , made her appearance on this week’s episode of ‘K-Pop Star 2 ‘.
“I share a bunk bed with my sister,” she confessed. “When she would sing below me, I’d work on my dream as well. I supported her during her performance and wanted to stand on the stage too, so I applied for the audition.”
Unfortunately, she couldn’t measure up to her sister’s success, missing the tempo and singing off-key. “You have a very pretty voice like your sister,” BoA said, before criticizing, “It is true that ‘K-Pop Star’ selects raw talent, but you don’t have the basics. I hope you work on those little by little.”
J.Y. Park added, “You don’t seem to want to show anything onstage,” and Yang Hyun Suk advised her to practice more, saying, “Once you start singing in front of 5, 10, 20 people, you’ll get better.”
Baek Jae Yeon was eliminated from the competition, to the sorrow of her sister watching from behind the stage.
