KARA becomes the first female Korean artist to hold concert at the Tokyo Dome

KARA became the first Korean girl group to hold a concert at the prestigious Tokyo Dome.


The girls kicked off their concert titled ‘KARASIA 2013 Happy New Year in Tokyo Dome‘ on the 6th at 6PM and the girls sold out all 45,000 tickets to the concert in under 5 minutes.


During the concert, KARA performed a total of 25 songs live, including their encore songs. They opened with “Pandora “, and also sung their Japanese songs that had swept the Oricon Charts, including “Speed Up “, “Girl’s Power “, “Winter Magic “, “Electric Boy “, “Go Go Summer “, and “Jet Coaster Love “. They also performed their Korean hits “Pretty Girl ” and “Lupin “.


To change things up, each of the members also performed their own solo performances. The crowd made the most noise when the girls performed their famous hit “Mister “, which was the song they debuted in Japan with.


The Tokyo Dome concert was part of KARA’s tour in Japan. They started in Yokohama, and moved onto Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and now Tokyo. They visited 6 cities and performed 12 times in front of a total of 150,000 fans.
