Big Bang sold out all 24,000 tickets to its U.S. concerts in less than two hours, reflecting their growing popularity around the world.
According to YG Entertainment, all 24,000 tickets were sold out in less than two hours after they were made available on September 22. The tickets were for the group’s “Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour 2012” concerts in California and New Jersey.
YG Entertainment said it was particularly impressive considering the fact that Big Bang has never promoted in the States. Also, it is the second consecutive sellout concert for Big Bang since their December performance in Hong Kong, where all 30,000 tickets were gone in a few hours.
“We’re considering more concerts after seeing explosive responses in New York and Hong Kong,” YG Entertainment said.
Big Bang is scheduled to hold concerts at the Honda Center in California on November 3, and the Prudential Center in New Jersey on November 9. Before heading off to the States, Big Bang will first perform in Singapore on September 28.
